26TH INFANTRY REG.Cunningham,Marshall M:. . . . . . . . . . . .Died on 9 april 1862.
27TH REG.Elias Grace, 27th Reg. Co. D IN volunteer Inf. He was wounded at the battle at Antitum Sept. 17, 1862.
He lost his left arm above the elbow and was discharged December 6.1862. He was born in May of 1831 in NJ,
a grandson of patriot John Grace. He was married to Charlotte Hawkins of Daviess Co on Nov. 19.1857. He
served for a time as Coroner and also as Constable. He died Oct.26, 1908 in Oakland City and is buried in Flat Creek
cemetery near Velpen.

80th INDIANA VOLUNTEERWilliam E. Journey was killed on May 14, 1864 at Resaca, Georgia. He was a Private in Co. "C", 80th Indiana Infantry. He is buried at the National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN. (Submitted by: Helen Rehm at tar@direcway.com)
117th INDIANA VOLUNTEER JACKSON, JOSEPH K. (Company K) Wounded in the Battle of
Tazewell, TN and died in the military hospital, Knoxville, TN on January 24, 1864.
He was born and raised in Harrison Township, Daviess Co IN

143rd INDIANA VOLUNTEERHIXSON, Charles B., died 08 July 1865 in Fort Donelson, TN. He was the son of David m. and Dolly Hixson. Charles is was born in 1843, Mason County KY on of 4 boys. His brother Jasper M. Enlisted in IL, was wounded at the battle of Chicamuauga and later died of the wound. Charles enlisted 04 Feb 1865.
