The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Hall-Baker-Litke Fureral Home, 339 E. Main St., Plainfield, Indiana 46168. Friends may call from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born Oct.12, 1917 in Pike county to William & Roseann (Crow) Booth. He was a retired machinist for Naval Avionics, Indianapolis Indiana & was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Washington Indiana. Surviving are three sons & 1 daughter, Jack Booth, Indianapolis, Joe Booth, Waterford Michigan, John Booth, Hendricks county, & Rebecca Hastings, Petersburg, eight grandchildren, & one brother & one sister, Harold E. Booth, Michigan & Eula Potts, Pontiac, Michigan

Lelia Booth From: Press Dispatch Thursday 13,1967 Lelia Booth Mrs. Lelia Booth. 73, of Ivy community Route 1, Otwell, died at her home Wednesday, April 5 at 12:15 a.m. after an illness of several weeks from cancer. She had been seriously ill one month. Living was her son-in-law & daughter. Mr. & Mrs. Wallace Schnarr. Her husband, David Booth proceeded her in death several years ago. Survivors beside her daughter Mrs. Wallace Schnarr, are three other daughters, Mrs. George Haycox of Jasper, Indiana, Mrs. Robert Maylone of Centerville & Mrs. James Mitchell of Independence, Missouri; a sister Mrs. John Gatz of Louisville Kentucky: a half brother Virgil McCarthy of Louisville Kentucky, a half sister Mrs. Bessie O'brain Kentucky; & four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Schmultzer Funeral Home in Jasper Indiana, Friday at 2 p.m.. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Winslow.

Luzena Booth From: Washington Democrat Saturday June 5, 1948 Luzena Booth Funeral Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. Luzena ( Steele) Booth, who died Friday morning that the Detroit Orthopedic hospital in that city, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday in Pleasant Ridge Church in Pike Co. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Rev. Grimes in charge. The body was returned to the Gill Funeral Home were friends may call. Mrs. Booth was the daughter of Otto & Myrtle( Mullens) Steele of this city & was born in Oakland City on Aug.20, 1918. She married Harold Eugene Booth & to this union three children were born. Barbara Jean, Billie Ray, & Tommy. All at home & who survive with her husband, parents & a brother, Wendell Steele, Detroit Michigan & a half-sister, Alice Chesser Coldwater Michigan. Mrs. Steele was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star & the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Agnes Brennan From: Washington Times Herald Saturday May 14, 1977 Agnes Brennan Mrs. Agnes M. Brennan, 79 Hwy.50 E., died at 3 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Jones, where she had been making her home since December. Mrs. Brennan had been in failing health & was seriously ill since Monday. She was born Sept.2, 1897 in Daviess County to John & Mary( Negele) Miller. She and Timothy(Tim) C. Brennan were married July 24, 1916 & he died May 1, 1962. A lifetime resident of this community, Mrs. Brennan was educated in Washington schools & was a member of St. Simon's Catholic Church & the Daughters of Isabella. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Lester( Helen) Jones, Rt# 2; Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Combs, Rt. 3; Mrs. Margaret Dant, Bloomington; Mrs. James( MaryAlice) Norris, O'Fallon, Illinois; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Fred Miller, Rt. 3; & two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Wininger, city; & Mrs. Mary F. Jordan, Cincinnati Ohio. Five brothers, two sisters & two grandchildren are deceased. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Simon's Church with interment in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ed Lee Mortuary after 7 p.m. today & members of St. Simon's parish & friends will pray a rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home & D of I services will follow the rosary.

Timothy Brennan From: Washington Daily Times Tuesday May 1, 1926 Timothy Brennan Passed Away Today Timothy( Tim) C. Brennan age 66, Rt. 4, city died at 4 a.m. today at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been ill for five & a half years & was seriously ill for 10 days. Mr. Brennan was born in Washington, Indiana, Aug.16, 1895 the son of William M. & Mary Francis Bline Brennan. He married Agnes Miller on July 24, 1916 & she survives. He was a member of the First Methodist Church & the local 346 Local Machinist Lodge. He was a former Machinist with the B. & O. Railroad before retiring five years ago. He had lived in this community all his five & was the educated in local schools. Four daughters, Mrs. Lester(Helen) Jones, Mrs. Paul E.( Ruth) Combs & Mrs. Louis A. (Margaret) Dant, all of this city, & Mrs. James W.( Mary) Norris Piqua, Ohio; survive. There are 10 grandchildren. Fureral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church with Rev. H.R. Burton officiated. Burial will be in the St. Johns Cemetery Friends may call at the Lee & York Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m., Thursday to lie in state until the hour of funeral. The casket will be closed at the hour of service.

Charles M. Campbell From: Washington Times Herald Monday Mar. 8, 1976 Charles M. Campbell Charles M.Campbell 89, 513 Dewey Ave., died at the Washington Nursing Center at 6:55 a.m. today after an illness of seven weeks. He had been an engineer at the City Power & Light plant, retiring ago after 35 years of service. He was a member of Central Christian Church. A native of Dubois county, he was born July 25, 1886 to Parks & Elizabeth(Corn) Campbell. On Aug.16, 1904 he married Rosa Colbert who died in 1960. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond(Josephine) Powers, Evansville, a son Elwood C. Campbell, Washington, 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren & 6 great-great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by two sons, Charles & Wilbert, & two sisters & three brothers. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday spent the Gill Chapel with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Ministers will be Pastor Herbert Gillen & the Rev. Loren Campbell. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
